We all want our papers to be cited. Whether we like it or not, the Impact Factor and now the H-index have become a way of measuring a scientist's merits and hence it might likely have an influence in his or her career. The old maxim: "Publish or perish" has now turned into: "Be cited or perish".
The process of deciding which articles will be cited in a publication is highly subjective. Our mission is to alert and remind your peers of your contribution in the field so that it does not get buried in the massive amount of scientific literature produced on a daily basis.
We personalize the emails by including the recipient's name - or the title of a paper published by the recipient - in the email Subject. This prevents the email from being tagged as spam as well as prompting the recipient to open it. Furthermore, if your paper is in the recipient's field, it is to be expected that he or she will read it and therefore cite it in a future paper. Since we send emails to thousands of authors in your field, many of them will be reached while in the process of writing a new article and therefore the chances that your paper will be cited in their article are increased.
Moreover, email recipients may propose collaborations, as happened in the real case example shown here.
Our electronic service is equivalent to physically handing out a reprint of your article to thousands of scientists in your field.
To keep cost at rock bottom levels, authors may opt for a single mail-out campaign. However, better results may be attained sending out 2-3 mail outs over a period of a few weeks. Then, there is that particularly significant paper that for one reason or other did not receive the recognition it deserves and which can be made noticeable even years after being published...

Books are a one time event and therefore, they need to be promoted aggressively; otherwise they tend to be less cited than original articles. This is unfortunate because a book chapter is usually a review on the subject, which has the added value of the author's expertise in sorting out what is relevant and what is not. It is also a pity because writing a book chapter takes a great deal of work; often far more than an original article. Our book awareness programs work particularly well for Open Access chapters, where the email contains a link to the corresponding PDF document or the Publisher's book web page.

Theses take a great deal of effort over a period of years. They also cost a significant amount of funding. They are comprehensive and involve the efforts of many people, from the student doing it, to the supporting technical staff to the professor who directs its and the reviewing committee. Yet theses are seldom cited in scientific papers. That is not right!
We are particularly sensitive to the need of young scientists to be recognized for their efforts as a first step to develop her or his dreams. That is why our thesis awareness program is the most affordable service we offer.

We can poll large number of scientists or clinicians in any area of interest. We can just circulate the survey or we can set it up for you.. In that case, all you need to provide us with is the list of questions and then approve the final version we build for you. You can further explore this service under Services/Surveys.
